Today's work outfit:

Cost:  pants (off white - very well made - seams finished inside!) $1.00, shirt .50, red patten leather slingback shoes (treads not even worn!) $4.98, scarf .10 = Total $6.58!!

Well Mom scored the deal of the day - check out this glider - just needs a new cushion.  $20!!!  We started at 9:00 and finished at 3:00 with a break for lunch.  Got some good deals - a nice pair of red sling backs - like new $4.98.  But the glider was definitely the best deal today.  I plan to work on some of my small furniture projects tomorrow before and after the Patriots game so maybe some more updates.  Til next time...

Friday 9-23-11

Today is Friday and this is one of my favorite parts of the weekend - right along with Saturday morning for garage saling and thrifting.  Tonight I'll map out my route and get my bag ready.  Mom is with me this weekend and she's a trooper - we go for hours searching for that one find that makes the day.  Last weekend it was at the first house we went to and it only got better!!  I'll post my favorite - and maybe a few others too - tomorrow.  Til then - bye for now!
